Tumor Diagnostic Clinic The goal of the tumor diagnstic clinic is to provide a medical home for patients with an undiagnosed tumor or suspected oncologic process at risk of being lost in the system. Patients seen in ER or by Primary Care that do not appear to belong to a clear specialty but have suspicious findings are perfect patients for referral. If they have a mass and no easy avenue to diagnosis-> chart check to the Tumor Diagnostic Clinic. Mark Vukalcic, MD and Heather Cedermaz, FNP-C have established a Tumor Diagnostic Clinic chart check roster every Tuesday and will review all patient history's and be the medical home during the diagnostic process. Evaluation, consultation, assessment and referral to in-house specialties or community resources will be managed through definitive diagnosis. Appointments into the clinic will be made after chart review only. Clinic is now live on Tuesday afternoons in Martinez and accepting referrals by chart check.
